Cheers to Gavin and anyone else who helped noobify the How to NAT page. I had very little trouble this morning setting it up and where I did get bogged down I took the time to add some clarifying remarks on the How To so hopefully others will have an even easier time than I enjoyed. Thank again everyone. Now I'm off to try and set up firefox as a local app. There appear to be many pages/howtos/blogs dedicated to this task so I have two questions for the list:
1. Is there an accepted "best method" page I can follow that anyone knows of? I only want firefox as a local app, I don't care about any other programs. 2. How can I check to make sure I'm running firefox as a local app and not off the server? If I can get this working we'll have 2 LTSP servers running a total of 50 machines across 2 labs for 750 students in grades K-8. Pretty sweet. Thanks to Patrick for writing the script, I'll try to use it on the next setup I do and provide some feedback. -joe
