Hi, I use OpenDNS (http://www.opendns.com/) for light filtering. I have this kind of setup (LTSP-PNP, 12.04). 1. ltsp@Ltsp-pnp:~$ cat /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/tail nameserver 208.67.222.222 nameserver 208.67.220.220 2. ltsp@Ltsp-pnp:~$ cat /etc/resolv.conf # Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by resolvconf(8) # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN nameserver 127.0.0.1 nameserver 208.67.222.222 nameserver 208.67.220.220 3. ltsp@Ltsp-pnp:~$ cat /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/lts.conf | grep DNS DNS_SERVER=127.0.0.1 That seems to work very well for fat clients. ltsp@ltsp205:~$ nslookup ltsp.org Server: 208.67.222.222 Address: 208.67.222.222#53 Non-authoritative answer: Name: ltsp.org Address: 75.98.171.129 Best Regards Asmo Koskinen. -- edubuntu-users mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/edubuntu-users
