ilario, you mentioned you looked into multiple software, what was your preference? i saw https://www.appsembler.com/blog/open-edx-moodle-comparison/, which very high level compares moodle with harvards and MITs edX: https://github.com/edx/. apart from moodle beeing written in PHP, like mediawiki, of course. while edX is in python.
