Yes, as of nv_95 it works if you use the OSS audio drivers, except that audio doesn't function post-resume. I'd thought that the new audiohd driver supported suspend/resume (as [1] suggested, a bug lead others to suggest that I try [2] instead, but it [3] suggests it doesn't yet do suspend/resume) Anyone know when we can get an audio driver that does do suspend/resume properly? We've filed: 6677682 Updated P2 driver/e1000g Need to Support Attansic Ethernet on ASUS Eee PC I believe the driver folks are still working to get the specs from the hardware manufacturer - don't know much more than that. Masafumi Ohta has a fantastic report on the 901, and his attempts at getting OpenSolaris to work on it at http://masafumi-ohta.blogspot.com/2008/07/report-opensolaris-installation-on-my.html A summary of his post, is that neither wifi nor wired work on the 901 - I hope the wired ethernet hardware is the same as the one on the 701, in which case, it'll be covered by the above bugid, don't know about wifi - http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/laptop-discuss/2008-July/011014.html suggest that's not on the radar - how do we convince people to work on it? I'm a pretty keen supporter of these tiny laptops, and it'd be fantastic to have everything working on this box. Btw. in terms of getting the webcam to work, I did get the gstreamer v4l2 plugin to compile on Solaris[4], but can't seem to work out how to get anything useful from the webcam itself: $ gst-launch v4l2src ! video/x-raw-yuv,width=640,height=480 ! ffmpegcolorspace Setting pipeline to PAUSED ... Pipeline is live and does not need PREROLL ... ERROR: from element /pipeline0/v4l2src0: Device '/dev/video0' cannot capture at 640x480 Additional debug info: v4l2src_calls.c(1227): gst_v4l2src_set_capture (): /pipeline0/v4l2src0: Call to S_FMT failed for YUYV @ 640x480: Bad address ERROR: pipeline doesn't want to preroll. Setting pipeline to PAUSED ... Setting pipeline to READY ... Setting pipeline to NULL ... FREEING pipeline ... (I tried 320x240 and 320x200 too, but no joy) - it's a standard usbvc so it /should/ work I think - anyone know anything about the usbvc driver? I'd be happy to help debug this... cheers, tim [1] http://gdamore.blogspot.com/2008/07/new-experimental-audiohd-driver.html [2] http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/eeepc-discuss/2008-July/000004.html [3]http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/eeepc-discuss/2008-July/000008.html [4] ?http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/src/gst-plugins-good/pre/gst-plugins-good-0.10.8.4.tar.bz2
