See bug 6677682 - Need to Support Attansic Ethernet on ASUS Eee PC There are engineers in our driver team working it, but I have no idea how close we are to having a working driver yet. The Wikipedia page on the EEE PC says all models use the same Attansic L2 wired Ethernet chipset.
