This was a surprise. You can't suppress the use of sitecustomise.pl using -f via #!, which we have been assuming you could do.
Turns out I need this for the ruby system, because there will NOT be a metadata.conf file for sitecustomize.pl to find. This is going to require some code changes the EFS-Perl to handle this case, since we're breaking one of the assumptions we made. efsops@madefsd01$ /efs/dist/ruby/facter/1.5.8-build001/exec/bin/facter --help Can't emulate -f on #! line at /efs/dist/ruby/facter/1.5.8-build001/exec/bin/facter line 1. Once we figure that out, the ruby system is basically done, with a working first pass. I'll pick this up on Monday. Time to go start my weekend....
