Please review http://www.endian.it/en/community/about/compare/ -- Endian, in its Enterprise version, does support upgrades. The Community version, on the other hand, only includes community support sans upgrade-ability. As a workaround, you can theoretically backup your firewall configuration, install the new version when it's released, and restore the backup; but YMMV -- a few users, myself included, have reported difficulties restoring their backups. I really do want to be in love with EFW, but the release of 2.0 has really let me down. IMO, it is not yet ready for production and needs further regression testing and problem resolution. Just last night, I revisited pfSense <http://pfsense.com/> (which /does/ support upgrades among other things) because my EFW 1) kept on losing its connection to the outside world -- the only way to regain the connection was to reboot; 2) didn't connect automatically on boot; and 3) could not keep itself in sync with No-IP.com at all. -Adam ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
