FYI: I have a 933 MHZ with 256 MB of RAM, and 20 GB Western Digital Hard Drive 5400 RPM.  It takes about 4 to 5 minutes to boot.  As already mentioned it takes some time to load the firewall rules.   It also depends on what other services you are running.

Has anyone has to wait a long time when Endian its booting?
Hi,

Ok, my firewall it's ok.
In boot, when are loaded firewall scripts, this normal.

Because have a lot off firewall rules to load.

well, I think this. If that's right?
I don't know. :)

I have one machine that boots in less than 1 minutes (stock install). I have another that takes 15 minutes for a stock boot. They're not that different hardware (fast one is a P4 1.4G, slow on is a P3 1.1G, each with 512M). But the slow one does this with ANY Linux distro I install on it.
