Hello efw users,

I have a serious problem to get efw connected to the internet. I am at a
loss of "why". I would appreciate any hints & help.
My setup as follows:

Efw 2.1.2 , 2 nics, recognized and working, no special services, just an
install out of the box.

Hardware setup: DSL cable modem >eth0 (red)> efw > eth1 (green)> LAN switch

ifconfig brings up both nics with status okay. I can ping from efw-box my
red interface, I can ping my machine behind the switch on the LAN. So far so
good .

What I am NOT able to do: connecting to the outside world. In Firewall >
Outgoing Firewall I have all the default ports open (from the install). Did
I miss something to open up somewhere ?

I REALLY would like to get efw running.
As I am a Linux NOOB, which commands do I have to enter in the terminal to
see if I can even get to the outside ?

Would someone be willing to help ?

Greetings
Johannes
