I come back with (bad) news regarding the problem of the content filter... I wrote some mail in the past 15 days to tell that i was experiencing problems with efw 2.1.2 and content filter... I tried to set everything on, add one specific site to the black list and still the specific site was open normally from internet explorer. The proxy was on, and transparent. Here at home, nearly the same config but another version of efw (2.1) and only black listing the site blocks it with IE...
Today, i've upgraded 2 different fw, and they had the same problem, that is efw content filter 2.1.2 does not work... everything goes through the filter without being stopped, even when blacklisted.... So i'd like to understand why on previous versions the content filter was working fine, and not now ! I'm using the french translation in the gui (but i hope it does not interfere with the content filter ;-) ), i'm using the proxy, the configs are all with fixed IPs, even at home where the CF works... if it can help, i can upgrade to 2.1.2 here so i can give logs (but not tonight...) Who uses the content filter with 2.1.2, and what are the setup of efw ?
