There is only one rule active, thats the "content filter + antivirus scan", so
technicaly its at the top.
How is it possible to manually add filters? Through the frontend I only get the
dropdown menu.
Is there some command I have to run through the root access?

Thank you again!

Interesting, I only have options for "Content Filter Only", "AntiVirus Scan
Only" and "Unrestricted". I guess I'd try making sure the "Content Filter + AV"
rule is at the top, if not already. You could try just having a "Content
Filter" rule and nothing else to see if that is the problem. Because it sure
seems to me the issue is with the policy not enforcing applying traffic against
the content filter.

    Hello Kevin!

Thank you for helping out. I checked the policy and I dont have the
"Content Filter Only" option. I only have "unrestricted", "antivirus scan only"
and "content filter + antivirus scan".

On first install it was on "antivirus scan only", I created a new rule with
"content filter + antivirus scan" and afterwards deleted the "antivirus scan
only" rule. Dont know if it makes any difference, just mentioning it in case it
does.

I connected through SSH to the efw and I confirmed that the filter is
running. I stopped/started the process and all seemed to work fine from that
side. Except ofc that the actual filtering doesnt take place.

Any further help would be greatly appreciated

Double-check your policy - I had to set to "Content Filter Only" and then
once making settings on disallowed phrases of the Content Filter page and
hitting apply, it takes a bit for the filter to start up. I run top on the
console and wait until dg is settled down - below 90+%.

        Hello all!

I am having trouble with the content filter on my fresh 2.2 RC3
        installation.
When I add a page to the blacklist, it works ok but no matter what
"Max. score for phrases" I enter, I can still can access all "nasty"
pages.

Is it still not fixed or is there some workaround?

After searching the archives I noticed it was a known problem in
previous
versions but no way how to fix it.

        My configuration is:

        HTTP Proxy: enabled
        Green: transparent
        Authentication type: local
Default policy: content filter + antivirus scan
        Content Filter: Activated virus scan
        Max score: 50
Filter pages containing phrases of the following: all checked
        DNS: transparent on green

Thank you very much for any help!
