I went thru a few days worth of the clamav logs and there's no error messages of any kind, and no events are occurring around the same time p3scan scans start to fail. The only errors that mention p3scan are in /var/log/messages.
The only other errors I can find are these crashes in /var/log/havp/access.logs and havp.logs: 12/11/2008 10:54:04 127.0.0.1 GET 200 http://crl.adobe.com/aum.crl 300+2819 SCANERROR ClamAV: Scanner crashed 12/11/2008 16:16:22 127.0.0.1 GET 200 http://www.9news.com/dtv/graphics/countdown/8right.jpg 430+1274 SCANERROR ClamAV: Scanner crashed 17/11/2008 15:44:23 127.0.0.1 GET 200 http://blstj.msn.com/br/chan/tr/js/1/fcast/1/FareCastOD.js? 484+976 SCANERROR ClamAV: Scanner crashed and 17/11/2008 15:44:23 Detected crashed ClamAV Library Scanner process (getanswer, pid: 30891, lasturl: http://blstj.msn.com/br/chan/tr/js/1/fcast/1/FareCastOD.js?) 17/11/2008 15:44:23 Scanner errors: ClamAV: Scanner crashed (lasturl: http://blstj.msn.com/br/chan/tr/js/1/fcast/1/FareCastOD.js?) I have no way to know if they're related. Is it possible to enable a log for p3scan? -----Original Message----- From: Mike Tremaine [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, November 17, 2008 4:26 PM To: efw-user@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [Efw-user] p3scan problem with efw 2.1.2 On Nov 17, 2008, at 10:52 AM, compdoc wrote: > > Maybe this isnt a p3scan problem, but actually a problem with clamav? > Unfortunately, there's not many logs being recorded by the services... > p3scan should be running off clamdscan so if it is failing on that then make sure clamd is running and working. [Try running clamdscan on the command line against a small text file.] Clam logs are in /var/log/clamav/ That might help track it down. I've not had problem with it but that doesn't mean something is not messed up. -Mike ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Efw-user mailing list Efw-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/efw-user ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Efw-user mailing list Efw-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/efw-user
