In my IE, msnbc.msn.com resolves to www.msnbc.msn.com I used to be able to enter .msnbc.msn.com into the allowed group, and the preceding . would act as a wildcard. So .msn.com would work as well...
But I'm not sure if it works anymore. If not, you need to find what the wildcard character is.
