Did you mean it's the DFI Infinity NF570 SLI-M2 G? Gigabyte doesn't seem to have a model with that number..
Is apic enabled in the bios? It should be as this gives you over 200 IRQs instead of the 16 that the original IBM PC offered. If it is enabled, its possible that its not implemented correctly, so you could try disabling it in the bios. The bios is code, and sometimes they get it wrong. You can try loading setup defaults in the bios, to load what the manufacturer recommends for that board. There is one option in the bios that seems to mess things up - the PCI Latency Timer. This should be set for 32.
