Hey, Im new to efw,so far, its great, ofcourse a few things here and there that just drives me nuts, like smtp proxy and the need for more than a p4 if you want active http proxy. Anyways, so far, the fw rules are a bit difficult, but one thing i do like is i can choose the particular uplink, or the ip on that uplink or the entire zone.
So if the new gui is being worked on, please dont drop this. Its helpful for a multihomed environment. Or one with multiple ips. I havw never used 2.2, so there isnt anything for me to compare it ti, so cant comment on that. ----- Regards, Satish Alwani ------- Original message ------- > From: Marco Aurélio <maure...@spin.com.br> > To: efw-user@lists.sourceforge.net > Sent: 8.1.'10, 4:49 > > Hi Christian, > > You know how long it will take for this update will be available? > > Regards, > MA > > > -----Mensagem original----- > De: Christian Graffer [mailto:christ...@endian.com] > Enviada em: quinta-feira, 7 de janeiro de 2010 17:35 > Para: efw-user@lists.sourceforge.net > Assunto: Re: [Efw-user] firewall rules are hard to use > > Hello everybody, > > I would just like to let everybody know that we know about this issue > and we are currently working on a re-design of the Destination NAT GUI. > There will be a simple and an advanced mode.
