Yes i was asking about external server that is Exchange in your case.
Actually same thing happend with me but in my case it was Squid which was
restarting every now and then. Messages log does not say much.
In my squid case my log partition was full and due to no space for further
logs it keeps on rebooting the service....
Check your /var/log partition.... usually it is 20Gb.... which was in my
case...check yours..
