Turns out this was a linksys cable modem issue.  Here are the steps I took
to resolve this issue:


unplug cable modem for 30 sec and plug back in
plug my cable modem directly into my laptop
open cmd propt and type ipconfig /all
get the ethernet lan mac address
unplug my laptop and plug into EFW
go into network wizard and on page 4 add spoof the mac address with the one
from my laptop


worked like a charm
