Hi Conny, I wrote:

It is the common practice, that the announcement / question on the core lists happens, when developers become a "Medior member" and get commit rights. And also for the record, I do not share the opinion eg. Lutz gave on the lists, that Lars and you are no active members of the project anymore, and therefore should have no votes. What I wrote was an answer to Lars: > To put that straight, you left the current eGroupWare code base and > now want to object against people trying to help maintaining and > improving it? I still value your and Lars contribution to the eGroupWare codebase and specially your non-code contributions as website, wiki and forum. I have a problem with the dogmatic approach of eGroupware20, as it calls the whole project to a waiting stage, 'til it's ready for a vote. But all this is beside the point of this thread, which is about making Nigel a "Medior member" of the eGroupWare project. I can not see he's dealt with any different from all other developers I added to the project before, beside of cause of Lars objection. If you want to call for a vote about the decision to make Nigel a Medior member, I will second you (so you dont need to get the required 20% of the members to second your request to vote), as I'm sure I dealed with this case the same way I did as with all similar requests in the last years.
