Unless you have one of two things going on:

1) Firewalls, either external or internal that is impeding your IIOP
traffic.
2) Interoperabilty problems, your bean X cannot talk to something Y
because it does not support IIOP.

Otherwise, I guess it begs the question: what is the value add?
