How to start with EJB on Linux?

Hi all,
I would like to start playing around with EJB's on a Linux box.
My Questions are:
- which EJB server should I use?
- which are free?
- what kind of IDE should I use when writing and debugging EJBs on Linux?

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate hearing them.
