Just a note: Orfali/Harkey were the fisrt to write something about EJB.  While
they provide a good overview of the technology (I think they covers it in one
chapter)  it is based on an old version (before the spec became final), so the
material has some inaccuracies.  In addition, it is simply an overview without
much depth. In other words, you won't be able to develop any beans using their
book.

This is not to say that the Orfali/Harkey  book is not good, it is.  It just
doesn't cover EJB very well.  If you can wait a month, there should be two to
three books in your local book store on EJB.  In the mean time, I would suggest
starting with the Sun tutorials, JavaWorld articles and the Nova labs tutorial.
