I suggest: 1) to explicitly allow use XML namespaces in descriptors. 2) to specify namespace url for standard descriptor elements. 3) to specify that if deployment descriptor is extended with server specific information it should be in other namespace then standard EJB namespace. I think that it will allow to specify addidtional server specific information in deploymet descriptor w/o naming conflicts.
