One of the many good reasons why WebLogic has
pronounced TOPLink the O/R mapping tool of
choice for use with WebLogic EJB is that in the years
I have spent going to visit customers who were
building complex object/data models, there was almost
unanimous agreement that TOPLink was the best
product to use, in terms of features, performance and
scalability. there has also been universal acclaim
from companies that I have steered towards TOPLink,
and many of them did their own evaluations against
other products.
products which are very flexible can be more
complicated to use than simple-minded products,
and this turns in to a challenge for some.
