In the 10 EJB spec, persisten fields in an entity bean had to be primitive
or srializable types.
As EJB's are always refered to by their java.rmi.Remote interface, this made
the representation and persistence of relationships between beans very
awkward.
In this months Java Report, in the article 'What's New in EJB 1.1', Richard
Monson-Haefel says (on page 26), that 'EJB 1.1 specifies that
container-managed fields can include references to ther Entity Beans...'
Is this true?
And if so, is there a simple way to then make this useful for anything other
than 1-1 relationships?
