It has gone through a number of updates since then...but with Enron
buying out Modulus, that web site is lagging in updates. Work on the
product is going ahead full blast however.

Sun has licensed InterAgent and will be releasing C/C++ and Java
versions called Java Message Queue (JMQ) this fall.
Modulus (now Enron) developed it and continue to enhance and
support it. Enron is a $20B company which is rock solid.
Both the company and the product are stable in my experience.
