I aplogise if this message has commercial overtones, I just try to locate
EJB technology experts, please, email directly if topic seems unappropriate
for this list.

We are looking to set up an internet stock brokerage in Russia. We need
technology which allows rapid development, code re-usability and scalability
(component based programming), and think of EJBs, probably on WebLogic
appserver. We have experienced Java code programmers, but are not that
confident about architecture...

Even though simplest online brokerage of stock is not a particularly new
idea, and EJB are supposed to be perfect for this (WebLogic even provides
sample "trader" beans), I couldn't locate a developer in Russia or in the US
who has implemented online brokerage systems on EJB. I've read that E*Trade
has been using TUXEDO which is supposedly should be "replaced" by EJB, but
they are doing it in-house and are not in the business of sharing
technology.

We want to look at (and, well, pay for this privilege if needed) existing
architecture for online stock brokerage before doing the system ourselves.
Can anyone help locating EJB developers who *have done* online brokerage
systems or maybe give me a hint where to look? I've heard there is annual
conference dedicated specifically to online brokerage backoffice systems
(there are hundreds of e-commerce forums, but I need to narrow down to
online brokerage, please).

Again, sorry if topic not quite "technology-related".

Tnx and Rgds,
Igor Drozdov.
