We have a tool we call jProfiler which provide mult-user benchmarking and
scale up testing. Our customers use this to prove they are ready prior to
going into production, which is generally a good idea.  Although jProfiler
could be used by anyone doing scale up testing in Java, we generally only
promote it within our customer base.

You can also find such tools from other vendors, candidates include
Compuware and Mercury Interactive's tools.
