My deployment process is this on weblogics:

1. use weblogic deployment tool to make the deploymentdescriptor.txt
2. copy java files and deploymentdesc.txt, manifest to the
examples/ejb/basic mybean directory
3. run build.cmd like this "build basic mybean"
4. for entity beans, I make sure I have the connectionpool name correct
(case sensitive), and the order of the persistent columns must match the
layout of the SQL table
5. then, edit the weblogic properties file and deploy my bean, and set up
the connection pool and jdbc stuff
6. then, start up the weblogic server and make sure it deploys ok.
7. still wondering how to redeploy a bean that I make a change to without
killing the server though. (on WINNT) And also, how do I kill the server
without having the "end task" popup come up. this is kind of annoying.

Thanks.
Weblogic provides a build.cmd file,if I use the Deployment Wizard,does I
need that file?
If I use build.cmd to generate .jar file, need I create the
DeploymentDescriptor.txt and manifest file myself?

thanks
Huyong
