Gemstone's policy is neither productive nor in their
best interest (ethical ? I certainly think so. But
that discussion is *soooo* off topic).

But that has little to do with the thing I was talking
about. To wit, the

        "I would ignore their license and force them to sue me"

approach advocated by one poster.

In general, programmers need to grow up. If you think
Gemstone's policy is wrong, send them a nice letter. "I
would have bought your product but ...."
