G'day,

<vendor>

Available for NT, Solaris and Linux, other platforms are being qa'd at the
moment. The reason for only these platforms to begin with, is the quality of
the Java virtual machine on those platforms. Inprise/Borland has made
strides forward in helping to develop the Java Virtual machine for Linux
with Sun and Blackdown with our all Java JBuilder product. We are also
working with other vendors/platforms.

See the following press releases for info.

If you have any technical queries related to the product, please post to the

Subject: info/experience/pricing inprise application server

Hi,

has anyone on this list used inprise application server? their datasheet
looks quite impressive. on the website they state that the ejb container is
100% java but still the product is only available for NT and Solaris. could
maybe someone from inprise clarify why? Also, what is their pricing
(flashline says 8000$/CPU but their values are incorrect for lots of
products I know so I thought I'd better ask)? Any linux roadmap for EJB at
inprise that anyone knows of?

thanks,

robert
