We used Interbase 5.6/NT with Valto in a EJB project and we had lots of
troubles with Interbase.
- Interbase is absolutly not compliant with SQL92 for date manipulations
(very
few operation are allowed).
- Interclient 1.5.1 (the JDBC driver for Java2) seems very
bugged/unfinished
with date comparaisons (for example it cannot tell which one from two dates
is
the oldest..)
- Interclient has a strange handling of stored procedure calls
But maybe this will be fixed in the JDBC 2 driver
Except with those date problems, it doesn't seems to need lots of memory
and
run well..
