Ahem !!! That is correct. If you take for eg: WebSphere Enterprise Edition,
IBM bundles in D-CICS, TXSeries (Encina), MQSeries, CB and others. So they
can claim a huge % just on that alone. Just one product, MQ would hold a
commanding lead over all others. But, then it is not an app server, but it
still comes under the WebSphere brand name.

Thus these % numbers are quite meaningless at the moment.

I really recommend, getting trial copies of both products and evaluating
them. Both have their good and bad points and as other vendors will point
out there are also plenty of other application servers out there as well.
A lot depends on what you want to do and what sort of application you are
building. That will crystallise the decision for you.
