All companies that let you download a copy of their server (perhaps save a
few) specifically prohibit you posting benchmarks about their products using
an evaluation version. If you can get an organisation that has a licensed
copy of the product to do it, you should be OK.

I am working on a paper called "Selecting a J2EE Vendor" and I have in the
criterion at the current point in time:
Developer Productivity

Distributed Application Management

EJB Prohibitions

Interoperability

J2EE Compliance

Modular Design

Organisational Stability

Performance of Applications

Support for Common Distributed Problems

Vendor Stability

Can anyone think of any other topics that are crucial to the selection of a
J2EE vendor that I might have missed? I'll be putting the initial draft
(minus matrix) up shortly for perusal and any constructive comment would be
well received.
