The internet is it's own worst enemy. I'm new to EJB. I really
don't have the expertise to provide answers to most questions. But
I find that as my knowledge base grows, I can at least understand
the Q&A's on this list. Therefore, I try to follow threads, and read
most of the postings. I for one, don't really wish to read employment
adds, but I can tolerate them if the subject is very descriptive, so
I can chose to skip them.
But the internet is a great tool also. And to get the most out of
it, you need to use it the way it was designed to be used, mailing lists
being no exception.
That being said, I think employment adds really belong on an employment
add list. And to those of you looking to hire, I think you'd find it more
productive because only the truly interested folks will read the list.
My 2c's.

Big Deal. So am I.

Yes . But does it make sense to go to a church service to sell holy objects
just because thier are religious people there ? Does it make sense to hawk
newspapers in a library because it is filled with literate people ? Just
because a place is logical and convienient does not mean it is *appropriate*
!

Yes, but so what ? if they were to contact me individually (ie not tagged
to the list, I wouldn't mind.

What other benefit ? How do I answer yes to this question ?

See answer to question 1, above, as #4 is the same question, in essence, as
#1.

No sir, you have not. Your reasoning is very muddy.
