The web server built into WebLogic Server is not as fast as either IIS or
Zeus.  (both of which are much faster than Apache.)

I have never run WLS against Apache on static html, but I suspect that it's
competitive.

Many of our customers use Apache, Netscape, or IIS for their webservers.
Personally I suspect this is because they are already familiar with these
products or have already standardized on a webserver.

Even a $1000 pc can serve up a lot of static html pages pretty quickly.
