HI Arul,

I think you need to decide the criteria for you, your project and your
organization or customer before deciding on which application server to
purchase. If you really want to continue this thread then the question to
post is what do people (developers and managers) look from in application
server/vendor. The posts should state the role the person plays, what type
of solution they are trying to build, and in what industry they operate.
When choosing an application server you need to make comparisions at many
levels/phases. You need to think about what matters to different interested
parties including architects, designers & developers, operations and
management.

regards,

-william

Subject: ready for fun in comparing app servers with EJB

hello friends..

i would like to know who r all interested in comparing application
servers...just lets consider BEA Weblogic and IBM WebSphere App server..

lets try to sort out some valid points like

Whats the difference between Weblogic and WebSphere in accessing a CMP =
and

Where does Weblogic and Websphere fail over ..whether in Application =
level
,server level or..

How Transaction is held out in Weblogic and how in websphere..

etc...

anybody can give any points to be considered and lets do some research =
work on it..and finally lets decide which app server is the best..

as this is an EJB mailing list ..lets consider only EJB's with App =
servers..ok..

Can We Start....??????????
