I think a good indicator for usage of ejb-server is to have a look at their
corresponding vendor newsgroup and have a look at the *quality* of
postings and the answers. If you look at them you can see a bit if they
are already at the "real" world...
I think choosing a container also mostly depends on your specific project requirements.
There are so much different ejb-containers as are different requirements from
your project, environment, customer etc...
it's the same with CORBA ORBs.
