Hi,
I have a question about using J2EE servers for
applications that need demon like processes to
constantly check few parameters and take actions based
on that - for example say you plan to build a demon
process for auction engines that will finalize the
winner of auctions based on end time of the auction
and the highest bidder -
Do J2EE compliant servers provide any build -in
support to build such demons. Any ideas on the best
way accomplish this task.
