Hi,
I understand some servers allows both user managed tranx and container
managed trnax for BMP beans, which method would be right to follow.

Hi,
You are right. In fact, I was under the impression that EJB 1.1 spec no
longer allow user-managed txns for entity beans (or maybe that's just a
constraint imposed by Weblogic 5.1). In either case, our BMPs use CMT.

where is it said that we have to use JTA transactions for a BMP EJB.
i can as well use container managed transactional properties for that bean.
persistence management and transaction management are two different things.
i think what you conveyed is wrong. we worked out here in the above said
situation.
