no WEBPSHERE 3.5 is still not EJB 1.1. Websphere 4.0
will support EJB 1.1 fully.
here is what IBM say for websphere 3.5 Advance
Edition:
full support for the Enterprise JavaBeans™ (EJB) 1.0
specification, including both SessionBeans and
EntityBeans (container-managed and ean-managed
persistence.
