I read the readme file for the PetStore sample but , the
problem I am facing is quite different. I have this application
running on their J2EE application server and I am not getting any
errors of similar kinds that I get when i run the application
deployed on your Application Server. Please let me know if you
need to configure your application server to resolve this bug.

Just to close the loop with everyone. I did talk to Priyank offline. Seems
he saw
1) Creating a new user gives a 404 error. This is a bit of a bug in the
install instructions that dont include a proper URL mapping for the JSP
context. If you add .jsp to the end of the url you dont see the 404. Ive
asked the site managers to fix the mapping.
2) A known issue listed by sun in the readme for the petstore sample
(browser dependant) with cookies where launching new windows can sometimes
invalidate the cookie.
So, without being too defensive <wink> there were no application server
issues, rather issues with the application itself, from, SUN. See, with
J2EE even your bugs will be perfectly portable :)
