Yes, they are definitely supported and typically represented by the remote
interface of the bean. They obey the same specifications of cardinality and
navigability as dependent objects (uni/bidirectional, 1-1, 1-n, n-m).
Note that you can also have relationships to not only local Entity beans but
remote ones. A very powerful (and complex to implement :-)) feature.
