I agree 100%. Our server does not (currently) enforce these rules, and if
it ever does then there will absolutely be a way for the user to disable
the checks.
Absolutely: pedal to the metal, if you can take the speed ;-)

CORBA implementations in C++, among other things, before giving up and
moving first to CLOS, and then to Java...
