Hi,
Sounds like both your FileReaderEJB and FileCreatorEJB are spec
non-compliant, since you are not allowed to use java.io.* from a bean
directly.
However, you can access files "remotely", say from a JMS task or an RMI file
handler.
Finally, to do these server-startup initializations you have two options:
either, as others have mentioned already, use a startup class , if
available, or use MessageDrivenBeans, also if available.

Subject: Re: How to start one or several EJB when my server start ?
In fact, I m writing a server that read files in a specific folder.
Theses files contains financial information, I need to read the files,
create EJB, and after (with some conditions) send XML files via network.
I have no client that ask for information.
What I do ?
-----------------
I have create an EJB (FileReaderEJB) that always search for files and
then
create instance of others EJB.
The "FileReaderEJB" is not persitent, but has no information about
session.
I need to start it like a process !!!
In fact, I do not need an EJB, I need a simple process that read my
files
and create my EJB.
I also need another Process/EJB that will (At some conditions, at a
specific
moment by example) read the EJB and craete a
XML file and send it via the network.
Maybe you have a better solutions ( In fact it is really more
complicated,
but it is really hard to explain each components )
Thanks for your help
Christophe
