hi,
thankx for the reply.
i am using WebLogic 5.1 and Oracle 8i.
i have used ORDBMS model ( object model in the database) to design my
database.
which we felt that will help us in scalabilty of the application from the
database end.
but i feel there are no direct support of Oracle User-define type in
WebLogic. using Object Translators is hectic.
i have transactions which are very complex and should update various tables
based on some conditions.
this logic i can apply through Object methods.
but if i use RDBMS model i have to use store procedures.
now the problem is can an Container managed bean be mapped to stored
procedure.
if not how to implement complex logic as in situations like mine.
one more thing can a Container managed bean map to multiple table without
using Views.
these are the few issue we are facing, can u pls clarify me on these issues.
thankx
rav
