Hi sudarson,
Weblogic app server do not pick up the helper classes from the bean's jar
file and also u cannot change the classpath on hot deployment. So better is
to place your helper classes in "weblogic\myserver\serverclasses" directory
as all the classes reqired by server-side objects are kept in this
directory. And also it is always in classpath when u run weblogic app
server.
You can compile your helper classes using this (but first run setenv.cmd)
    javac -d %SERVER_CLASSES% Helper.java
to directely put your helper classes into the above mentioned directory.

Anybody know about .war file (Weblogic Archive file) .. I m asking this
because i think we can specify our helper classes along with the ejb's jar
file in the .war file and can deploy our weblogic Application ( and not just
deploy EJBeans) and so in that case we can keep our helper classes anywhere
and can specify its location in .war file. Any idea ??:)

Cheers

Ajay

Hi,
Thanks for ur reply. But regarding jar file concept.
u're missing one thing--- u can deploy the jar file
statically as well as at the run time (what we call
hotdeployment in weblogic), so in case of
hotdeployment how can u give the classpath in
startWeblogic ? Can u or somebody else give some more
light on this ?
Thanks and Reagrds,
Sudarson
