I before I could answer that question, I would need to ask a laundry list of
other questions. For example, what are the requirement for the test, do
you believe that this test realistic. The answer to these questions in this
forum will take more time than I have at this particular moment. I would
suggest that you take a look at Jack Shirazi's Java Performance Tuning book.
Chapter one covers how to conduct a performance tuning exercise. You can
visit his web site at www.javaperformancetuning.com for further information
(and a news letter).
I work for Brokat, formally GemStone. We have a benchmarking white paper on
our site. It describes the basics of conducting a bench mark. It was
written by one of the industry's premier Smalltalk people (Collen Roe)
www.gemstone.com. I haven't finished the book just yet but, it does look
pretty good so far. That's Enterprise Java Performance by Halter and
Munroe.

In general, benchmarking and performance tuning exercises turn out to be
more complex than first expected. Since this is not an EJB topic, I willing
to discuss this with you further off-line.

Simply because it is not a Vendor Specific question !
I use JBoss, Yes, but I m not sure that the performance I have is due to
JBoss !!!

I m looking for performance comparaison .... and why not for JBoss too !

I m not sure it is a problem, it is maybe a fact and I can do nothing to
this !!!
It is a result of the test and not a JBoss problem ( maybe ) !

The guys on EJB-interest have also good EJB knowledge and can say that they
have the same performance problem
with other EJB-servers !!

Use the jboss-user mailing list for JBoss specific queries.

regards,
  Rickard

ps. Christophe, you 1) are already on the jboss-user list and 2) know
that this forum is not for vendor specific questions, so why are you
posting this here!?
