Ideally, IMHO, business logic associated with an entity would be in an entity
bean because this is good OO encapsulation. I am not a great believer in the
"Stateless Session Bean as a facade to an entity" pattern.
However this ideal is hard to achieve, because business logic seems to fit most
easily where the session state is kept, i.e. in stateful session beans if you
use them, or in Servlets/JSPs/clients if not.
So I'd say put whatever logic you can into Entity Beans and put the rest into
session beans.
