Okay here it is.  I extensively use XML in my application.  It is the main
stay of my app.  I have xml files for configuration (like the petstore)
and xml files for b2b and other connections.  I use jdom to handle the xml
along with xerces as the parces (not the one that comes with orion, the
new one).  For configuration, just use a url to get the xml file in the
jar, ie. context.getResource("/WEB-INF/xml/xmlmappings.xml");  Thats it,
no problems ever.
