I am interested in determining the answer to this question regarding
concurrency. We achieve concurrency control in our EJBs using BMP in an EJB 1.1
container. BTW, we are using Borland App Server for production and jBoss for
development. AFAIK, the technical points Jonathon is making against WebLogic are
factual. I am interested in reading the document you refer to however, to see
what other alternatives exist for CMP concurrency. Perhaps you have a mechanism
that allows a timestamp/uid field to be specified per table? Please give me a
link as my initial search of your website didn't reveal anything.
Another sub-point...Does this discussion become moot when using WL6 and it's
partial beta-support for EJB 2.0?
